What you get up to

A whole venue in your pocket

Quick check-ins by default. Plenty of depth if you like to dig in.

Book & host events

Organisers call with offers: youth athletics, rock nights, opera under the stars. Book them onto a real-time calendar, set ticket prices, food and staffing, then open the doors.

Small gigs start within minutes. Flagship nights get booked hours ahead.

Live incidents

Something always comes up. A pitch invader in a banana suit. The bar running dry at the break. A cheating scandal at the esports final. The clock waits while you make the call.

Afterwards the debrief tells you exactly why it was two stars and not three.

Build & upgrade

Fifteen upgrades per venue across stands, food, hospitality, tech and operations. Builds take minutes, not days, and you watch the scaffolding go up while the venue keeps working.

More seats, better toilets, a sky lounge. Marge the groundskeeper approves.

Ten venues

From a tired 2,000-seat town pitch to a Roman amphitheatre, an ice arena, a racecourse, a lakeside stage and an expo hall, all the way up to the National Stadium and a motor speedway.

Each one has its own events, incidents and floor changeovers.

Your assistant

Busy tonight? Hand the night to your assistant manager. They run it on time, even with the app closed, play it safe and leave you a recap for when you're back.

They take a small fee. Good help never comes free.

Leave a Legacy

Finish a top-tier venue and start a new career with Legacy perks that last forever: a crowd that knows your name, smoother changeovers, old friends among the organisers.

Every new career is a little tougher. That's the fun.

Your career

From town pitch to speedway

Every venue is a run. Hit its goal, move on, and take part of your reputation and cash with you. Each one is modelled on a real kind of place: explore them in the venue gallery.

Tier 1

  • StadiumA tired 2,000-seat town ground with a running track.
  • Arena di LucentiaA 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheatre. Opera under the stars, if you can restore it.
  • Old Theatre HallGilded balconies, red velvet and a leaking roof.
How a check-in feels

Pop in, run the place, pop out

One in-game week is one real hour. Fill the calendar, then let it rip.

  1. Step 1: Check the calendar

See what's booked and grab a couple of fresh offers. Glance at the forecast: rain empties a racecourse faster than a bad headliner.

  2. Step 2: Run the night

Doors open when you're ready: the night waits for you. Set the prices, watch the crowd roll in and make the call when the scoreboard dies at half-time.

  3. Step 3: Count the stars, spend the takings

See why the night got its stars, bank the money, start an upgrade and book the next nights. Three to ten minutes, done. Or keep going. Nobody's stopping you.

The debrief after a night: two of three stars, with the reasons and what would earn the third star.
Questions

Good to know

Is it free?

Yes. Big Night Tycoon is free to play. Ads are always optional: watch one when you'd like a boost, like skipping a wait or boosting a night's profit. Gem packs and a one-time ad-free pass are there if you want them.

How does the real-time calendar work?

Offers come with a start time in real time: small gigs within minutes, the big nights hours ahead. When the time comes, the doors open and the night waits for you. It never starts without you, unless you've handed it to your assistant.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up and no log-in. Your career is saved on your iPhone and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud account.

Which phones does it run on?

Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
